Test Preparation

What is an English Proficiency test, and why do you need it?

Proficiency tests are mandatory for international students pursuing programmes abroad that are taught in a different language. Universities commonly use English proficiency tests to measure whether students are enough to partake in courses. Various exams are designed to test English fluency, grammar, and overall language understanding.

Depending on the test, a set amount of required score or a pass certification is required by universities alongside applications. The certificate awarded in the event of passing these tests is recognised globally and ticks another requirement for courses taught in English.

Currently, the two most common and widely recognised English Proficiency tests are the International English Language Testing System and Pearson’s English Language. Acing these tests will make getting to your targeted university much more straightforward, and we’re confident we can help you get there.
